PRIVACY INFORMATION
What MailTested processes
MailTested must process the test message and its technical metadata to generate the report you request. Do not send confidential, regulated, or unrelated personal information to a test address.
Test emails and reports
When you send a test message, the service receives the message content, headers, sender and recipient addresses, connecting IP, HELO name, authentication results, and related routing information. The application saves the received message and a derived report on its infrastructure so the report can be displayed.
Report and message URLs are excluded from search indexing through response headers. That is not access control: anyone who obtains a report URL may be able to open it. Treat the link as sensitive and do not publish it unless you intend to share the report.
Other tools
DNS and reputation tools process the domain, selector, IP address, or header text you submit. Email headers can contain personal addresses and internal server information. Remove unnecessary values before using the header analyzer.
Operational data
The hosting and analytics systems may process standard request data such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, timestamps, and diagnostic logs. Third-party chat or analytics services may set their own cookies or receive request information under their respective policies.
Your choices
- Use a purpose-built test message without confidential content.
- Do not paste headers you are not authorized to analyze.
- Keep report links private.
- Use the contact page for privacy questions or deletion requests.
